Bronx Zoo

Phinneus is a male offspring of Cleo. His father is unknown if it is Bandit or Smokey, but it is assumed to be Bandit. He has a big brother, Duke, who also lives at the New York Aquarium. His sister, Indy, is now at the Bronx Zoo.

Phinneus came to the Aquarium in October 2005. He was the smallest sea lion in the group and often seen swimming with his mother Cleo. He resided in one of Sea Cliffs' exhibits for most of the time but Cleo later moved to another area of the Aquarium.

Phinneus finally settled with Indy for a while before she left in May 2007. There was a period of time when Phinneus was being alone at Sea Cliffs, but arrangement was made and he got a new companion named Fonzie. Fonzie is a 21 year-old male from the Aquatheater. The two could easily be recognized due to their size differences.

Currently, Phinneus is being trained for Aquatheater's demonstration in future.

Identification: If seen, he is the smallest sea lion at the Aquarium.
